The United States offers investors a very attractive and expeditious path to a U.S. "Green Card".

The "EB-5" Investor visa allows investors to achieve U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident Status on average within in 24 months. Permanent Resident Status under the EB-5 program is conditional for 2 years, at which time a formal application to cancel conditions must be filed with USCIS.

The EB-5 program requires a qualifying commercial investment of minimum US $ 500,000, plus administrative and legal fees of up to as much as $ 50,000. The investment must create 10 direct, or in some cases "indirect" jobs within 2 years of the investment.

The eligibility criteria is very open: no restrictions based on age, education, language ability or management experience. The key is to demonstrate "legal source of funds" for the investment. "Legal source of funds" may include gifts and inheritances. We have successfully assisted even students and retired persons qualify for U.S. Legal Permanent Resident Status under this program. The program is currently scheduled to "sunset" in September 2017.

In addition to the EB-5 program, there are other options for investors including a non-immigrant work visa status under the "E-1/E-2" Treaty Trader/Treaty Investor visa category for key employees of qualified companies trading with the United States and corporate/individual investors doing business in the United States. Also, key executives of foreign companies with a related or subsidiary company in the United States may qualify for expeditious permanent resident status as an "EB-1-c" Multinational Executive.
